It is very important to keep all your content relevant; otherwise, you are going to get a lot of people unsubscribing from your newsletter very quickly.

 

Make Signing-Up Easy: To get a lot of people to opt-in to your email list, you must make it as simple as possible or they will hit the back button and most likely never return to your website again. The best way I have found, is to put an opt-in box that pops up on the front page of my website after 8 seconds. Other internet marketers have simple opt-in forms on the top of the page, either on the right or left hand side. The left hand side tends to be better because people read from left to write and your opt-in box is the first thing they see. Give a quick sentence about the benefits or what they will receive and how you or your product can help them. Tell them to add their name and email below and watch as your opt-in list begins to grow.

 

Give Quality Content: Giving high quality content will drive a lot of visitors to your website and hopefully subscribers opting-in to your email list as well. By giving relevant and high quality content, your search engine rankings will increase, which will send even more traffic to your website and more people signing up for your newsletter.

 

 

Forum Marketing: There are literally thousands of forums and discussion boards covering everything you could possibly think of on the internet. Start discussions on forums related to your website or business. Start building relationships with people in the forum. Most forums allow you to put a signature line under your post. This is where you can put a link back to your website or your newsletter. If you have interesting information and useful tips, many people will check out your link and want to join your opt-in list to learn more. Don’t spam the forums. Make sure you offer legitimate posts with useful information or you will quickly ruin your reputation.

In the the biography box of the article, include a link back to your site or newsletter where people will see your opt-in box. Write an Ebook: Write an eBook that is packed with useful information and give it away free. Internet marketers are always looking for free information to give away to their lists.
